The Light
This painting is a copy of a
picture I took on central park, In this painting you can see that the trees are
very dark and that some of the leafs are brighter than others. To make the
painting I transferred the image to an illustration board with transfer paper.
I started by painting the background, then the trees and finally all the
details in the leaves using three different shades of green.
In this painting the horse
represents strength, and I consider my grandmother a really strong person. She
has always liked nature and in these trees the shadows could also represent a
dark side of a situation, which in this case is the surgery she had. The bright
background is an opening to a new opportunity of living.
